Master Class Seminar: The Amazing Versatility of Pinot Noir
+ Combo Package Available
1500 E Main St. Richmond
10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Pinot Noir, one of the wine world's most popular and finicky grapes, is incredibly versatile, growing especially well in relatively cooler climates, offering tremendous geographic diversity. It is bottled as a single varietal and used to make world-class Champagne and sparkling wines. Led by Certified Sommelier, Christopher Fulp, this seminar explores Pinot Noir by comparing and contrasting bottles from Oregon, France (Burgundy), Virginia, New Zealand and California. You'll smell and taste the different flavor profiles of this perfumed grape and understand why it's regarded as the favorite varietal of so many wine enthusiasts and collectors.
You'll taste 10 to 12 extraordinary Pinot Noir wines, including some Champagne and sparkling, from various geographic regions around the world.
