Acclaimed Sichuan Chef Peter Chang, a finalist for the best chef Mid-Atlantic for the James Beard Foundation, will personally oversee this exceptional wine pairing dinner featuring 12 specially created menu items, including multiple appetizers, dim dum combinations, entrees and dessert. Peter Chang's talent is world-class. The former chef at the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C. became a living legend for his brilliant flair and subtlety in the kitchen and for many years was pursued by crazed "Changians" who followed him as he made his way to different restaurants around the southeast U.S. until he finally set down roots in Virginia. NOTE: Barboursville Vineyard wines will be served with this dinner. Acclaimed Barboursville winemaker Luca Paschina will personally present the wines.

Special Note

  • There is also a Tuesday evening 'A Dinner Affair With Peter Chang'.  The menus for both nights will be the same.  The Virginia wines served on both nights will be different.

General

  • All-inclusive wine pairing dinner
  • Features 12 menu items, including multiple appetizers, dim dum combinations, entrees and dessert, which Peter is creating especially for this dinner.
  • Barboursville Vineyard wines will be paired with the dinner.  The wines will be presented by Barboursville's acclaimed winemaker, Luca Paschina.
  • You may arrive any time after 6pm
  • There will be a cash bar open if you arrive early 
  • We are sorry but there are no special dietary restrictions or preferences at this dinner
  • There is street parking nearby in Scott's Addition.  Also, the GRTC Pulse has a station very close by.
  • Smart casual dress
