While the Virginia Wine Expo is a curated wine event which places special emphasis on wines from Virginia, the event also emphasizes ‘Regions of Emphasis’, both international and national, which rotate each year.  These regions keep the Expo fresh, enhances attendees understanding of different viticultural regions around the world, and enables attendees to take a journey of discovery to learn about wines they may have never tried before.  For 2026, the international ‘Regions of Emphasis’ will be Spain and Portugal.  The national ‘Region of Emphasis’ will be Central Coast, California.

Please note that although the 2026 Expo will emphasize Virginia (the dominant wine content), Spain, Portugal and Central Coast, CA., there will be a modest number of additional wine exhibitors sampling wines from other regions of the world.
