Overview

Exhibiting at the Virginia Wine Expo's Walk-Around Grand Tastings (March 8-9, 2025), the most popular events on the schedule, offers a compelling opportunity to promote and sell your products or services to affluent consumers with a discerning palate in a world-class venue - beautiful Main Street Station.   

The Walk-Around Grand Tastings focus on educating attendees about highly regarded wine and spirits.  The event eschews celebrities, live music, or gimmicky activities.  We draw passionate wine and spirits enthusiasts, and foodies who have an adventurous palate and like to learn!

At the Grand Tastings our attendees tend to be in a buying mood.   The event is a great sampling and sales opportunity.

Three Sessions to Sample and Sell

Approximately 5,300 upscale attendees are expected at the three Walk-Around Grand Tasting sessions:

  • Saturday, March 8 - Afternoon Session from 11:00am-4:00pm (the first 60 minutes are exclusively for VIP/Early ticket-holders);
  • Saturday, March 9 - Evening Session from 6:00pm-9:30pm; and
  • Sunday, March 3*** - Afternoon Session from 12:00pm-4:00pm. (the first 60 minutes are exclusively for VIP/Early ticket-holders)

***Note that a new Trade-only session, including brunch, will be held from 11:00am until 12:00pm

Demographics

Our iconic attendee in 2024 was female and 42 years old.  Average household income was $174,000 and average individual income was $88,000.  We expect average household and individual income to increase in 2025.   72% of our audience comes from within a one hour drive of Richmond and 94% come from within a two hour drive.  After the Richmond region, more attendees come from northern Virginia than any other region of Virginia.

More Information

There are coat and wine check services so that our guests don't have to carry their coats and purchases with them during the event.  They can pick up those items after the event concludes.

Exhibitors will receive a pipe and draped space, draped table, chairs, and a waste-basket for their exhibitor fee. Multiple options are available with regard to the size of the booth.  Exhibitors will also receive badges, crystal wine glasses and other privileges during the show.

Electricity, ice, and WIFI are FREE of charge.

  • Name of business
  • Contact name
  • Email address
  • Description or listing of products you want to market or sell
  • Images and/or a website where your products can be seen along with the packaging

We prefer that our vendors have a food, wine, spirits or cider connection or have products or services that would appeal to an affluent demographic and be appropriate for a fine wine exposition.  We also restrict the number (sometimes to only one) of vendors in specific food, beverage and product categories so we do not have multiple vendors selling the same product.

We try to emphasize local, artisan products, and services.  However, businesses from around the the mid-Atlantic and well beyond currently exhibit with us and will be welcome to join us in 2025.
