About Seminar Leader, Sommelier, and International Wine Judge Bob Madill

Bob co-founded Sheldrake Point Winery, Finger Lakes, NY in 1997 and was Winegrower & GM for 12+ years.  He was a member of Kindred Fare Restaurant’s opening team, Geneva NY, in 2015 and served as the restaurant’s Wine Director for several years.

Bob is a Board Member and Secretary of the New York Wine & Grape Foundation.

Bob represents Tonnellerie Bossuet in the Finger Lakes, NY, and Niagara, ON.  He is the Head Judge for the Finger Lakes International Wine & Spirits Competition and the Eastern States Exposition NE Gold Competition, and judges competitions in the US and Europe.  Bob teaches Wine Judging for the American Wine Society and is a frequent presenter at the National Conference.

Bob is AWS CWJM, WSET 3 & CS certified.  For 15+ years he has provided Educational Wine Tours for industry professionals to classic European wine regions (EDUWineTours.Com).
