About the Shoreline Experience
We strive to sell the finest selection of responsibly sourced seasonal fish and shellfish. In our market, you’ll find an array of prepared foods, beer and wine, and other thoughtfully selected market specialties, all intended to complement the enjoyment of our seafood. We think of it as the traditional fish market reimagined. Besides our fish case and market selections, the dining opportunities at Shoreline are not to be missed. During the day, you can enjoy our delicious lunch menu, either dining in with us at the counter, or on a take-away basis. In the evening, the space transforms as our chef creates an innovative shared dining experience known as Omakase, where a progression of dishes are personally selected and prepared.
Our story is also the story of our team’s dedication to providing a supportive, individualized shopping experience. We regard our customers as our friends and appreciate opportunities to exchange recipes and cooking suggestions with them, as well as sharing our obsession with all things from the shore. Feel free to introduce yourself when you visit — ongoing relationships are our favorite part of what we do. We look forward to seeing you soon.

About Shoreline
Shoreline is the brainchild of David Whitby, former owner of Yellow Umbrella Provisions. After selling Yellow Umbrella a few years ago and taking a couple years off to focus on his family, he decided to get back into the seafood business. He conceived Shoreline to be a more seafood focused market with healthier prepared foods, a casual lunch counter and an Omakase style high-end 10 course dinner dining experience. All three of these facets are centered around the amazing, top quality and sustainably sourced fresh seafoods brought in for sale daily. David had a previous relationship with Josh Loeb and hired him as the executive chef to help steer the culinary aspirations of the business. He also brought in Matt Snow, a former long-time Y.U. employee, as general manager and a fellow seafood gourmand. From there a team of like-minded and talented staff were assembled to help bring the vision to life. Shoreline opened in late April of 2024, showcasing excellent quality fresh seafood, packaged prepared foods, tinned fish and other complimentary products for sale as well as lunch and dinner dining options throughout the week.
